Tanzania fly-in safaris (see fly safari packages)

Some local chartered flight companies offer scheduled flights to and from national parks airstrips. Having daily flights on popular routes & some routes are on inducement of 2 minimum seats.

Optimum Fly-in Safari, Tanzania

the optimum way of using fly-in safaris in Tanzania is to integrate them with game drives and avoid long drives back. For example, you head to Serengeti from Ngorongoro so instead of heading back to Ngorongoro, Arusha, and take a flight to Zanzibar. You can opt to fly out of Serengeti into Zanzibar

Where you can Fly from (start your fly-in safari)

You are to arrive in Tanzania from 3 major international airports and from them, you can take a charter flight to a national park. starting your fly-in safaris

  • Dar es salaam, being the financial hub & a ferry away from Zanzibar, from here you can get flights to & all working airports and airstrips in Tanzania
  • Kilimanjaro airport is the closest international airport to the Tanzania northern circuit parks. From this airport, you can get charter flights to the northern parks
